Hiking through the mountains of Cingles de Bertí, you constantly need to stop to take in the immensity of the views all around. This particular shot was taken after a four hour ascent, scaling trails that entailed sheer drops and perilous paths.
To walk on the edge of the escarpment is to tread a line between the tamed farmland on one side and wild inaccessible woodland below. Cliff-nesting eagles like kestrels and peregrine falcons are residents here and are often seen soaring through the skies highlighting the immensity of the landscape.
