Alaró is located in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, between Palma and Inca.
The three hour hike to Castell Alaró provided lushous panoramic views and vast rolling mountains past the horizon. The castle presently in ruins, used to occupy the majority of the mountain top. It has existed from before the conquest of Mallorca and its most important historical event was the heroic resistance of King Jaumes II knights, Cabrit and Bassa (popular legend considers them martyrs) against the troops of King Alfonso III of Aragón.
This print has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
